First Canaan Children Home at Pudukottai,Tuticorin District In the year1996 Canaan Children Home was started with 5 children, later in the same year a fatherless girl joined our Children Home and was admitted in a school hostel through our Canaan Charitable Trust. Totally six children in Canaan Children Home. THIRUPARANI PERUMAL is the first boy, He is a fatherless & handicapped boy who was admitted in our Canaan Children Home in the year 1996 .At the time he joined our home he was studying 8th standard and he was with us for eight years and he has completed the B.Sc. (Physics) degree course in the year 2004 and left our home and he has joined in a work after leaving our home for the past two years at the time of his Holidays he comes and stays with us for few days. It is very important and happy that he is the first & only Graduate in his family. This academic year 2008-2009 he has joined our home again
and studying B.D.(five and half years course) |
SELVAVINAYAGA KANNAN is a motherless boy, when Kannan was 7 days infant his mother had a severe fits and she died.After her death Kannan was with his Grand Mother,but his grand mother was poor to give him food and also she has to look after her own handicapped 15 year old daughter.At that time Kannan was studying 3rd standard and was admitted in our Canaan Children Home , he was detained when he was studying 9th standard so that he has to study one more year in the same 9th standard. Now he is studying B.Com.2nd year. He is with us for the past 12 years. He was admitted in the year 1996, . After completing B.Com. Degree course he wants to join M.B.A. course.

VELRAJA is a motherless boy. In the year1996 he was admitted in our Canaan Children Home. At the time of his admission he was studying 4th standard. Now he has completed B.Com. Degree. After his completion of B.Com degree course he has joined Chartered Accountants Course. He is with us for the past 12 years. |
BASKER is brother of Velraja. He joined Canaan Children home with his brother in the same year 1996.Now he has passed 12th standard. At the time of his admission in our Canaan Children Home he was studying 1st standard. He is with us for the past 12 years after completing his schooling this year he is willing to join in the college and study B.Sc. (Zoology) course. |

In the year 2004 Vaithegi and Vijai joined our Canaan Children Home and they are with us for the past 4 years, their father was murdered on 28/12/2003.Vaithegi is studying 4th standard and Vijai is studying 5th standard. |

SWEETY PRISCILA is a fatherless girl, she has completed B.Com.,M.Com., M.B.A.in Manonmaniam Sunderanar University,now she has passed M.Phil.. in Madurai Kamaraj University She is with us for the past 11 years. This year 2008 she has completed degree courses and left our children home |
NARAYANAN is a handicapped boy, he joined in the year1998, and he is studying B.A. (history) in Annamalai University. His father is paralyzed. He is with us for the past 10 years. At the time of joining our Canaan Children Home he was studying 7th standard. |

ARULSELVI & JEYASELVI are sisters.Their father was a lorry driver. In the year 2004 While he was on duty driving the lorry hehad severe heart attack and he died. The same yearArulselvi & Jeyaselvi joined our Canaan Children Home at the time of joining they were studying 9th standard and they are with us for the past 4 years, at present they have completed XII standard.In the year 2005 their younger sister THAMILSELVI also joined our Canaan Children Home, now she is studying 4th standard. Arulselvi, Jeyaselvi & Tamilselvi - Left our children home this year 2008.
